Actual Family, and Suppliers (who are, actually like family)

NANA

I Love My Nana. Nana (my mother’s mother) and my Granddaddy
opened and ran the Town House Restaurant on 301 Hwy, in Sylvania Georgia.
They also Owned Treado Food Packers, and made and shipped Pecan Pies, Lemon Pies, and Stuffed Acorn Squash all over the Southeast!
My Granddaddy Treado was a Yankee from Connecticut,
but that didn’t stop him from cooking up a storm of Southern Charm.
In that special way Southern Women do, my Nana captures CARE and mixes it into cakes.

Nana can bake a pie, but what you taste is LOVE!

GRANDMAMA AND GRANDDADDY

I Love My Grandmama. If Nana taught me how to be sweet,
Grandmama taught me how to SEW.
Grandmama opened and owned Zeagler Fabrics in down town Sylvania Georgia.
And Granddaddy Repaired broken Singer Sewing Machines
in a shop behind their house on Rocky Ford Road, He gave me my first sewing machine!
Look where we are today!

VILLA RICA KNITTERS

We use the good people at VR Knitters (namely owner Pam Bruce) for most all of our machine knitted knits. Villa Rica Georgia was once a Knitting Hub of the South. Now VR Knitters is the last knitting mill in Villa Rica. With 14 employees, most are over the age of 63 the oldest being 81.
These are special people who love what they do, and IT SHOWS IN THE PRODUCT! So the next time you grab that PECAN PIE COUTURE piece of clothing with a knit detail, just you think about the LOVE that went into every knit and purl!

VR Knitters has closed, but our hearts still hold them dear!

Fred Stack over at Pembroke Textile Associates is one of the nicest guys you’ll ever have to talk on the phone with about single 12’s or single 8’s. Pembroke Textiles is located in South Carolina, they answer phone with a Southern Drawl, but that’s the way we like it answered!
